The Summer College Essay Camp is designed to teach students how to develop and construct an effective essay for their college applications. 

The primary objective of the camp is for each student to have written, edited, and finalized at least one essay for their college applications. This highly interactive camp will cycle through periods of direct instruction, reading example essays, individual writing, and workshopping with the group.

As a former college admission counselor at Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech, Jayme has read thousands of college essays and will give students the insight into what makes an effective essay. If students need additional attention after this workshop, they will be able to make individual appointments with Jayme.
